Installing the appliance
Notice
Do not install the dryer in an enclosed area or in any
area without fresh air circulation.
The dryer works in accordance with the exhaust-air
principle. The moist warm air generated during the
drying of the laundry exits through exhaust air open-
ings.
Route the exhaust air via an exhaust duct to a venti-
lation shaft or into the atmosphere (see Installing
the exhaust duct)
If the supply of fresh cooling air is inadequate, the dry-
er will suck in again the warm and humid exhaust air.
This lengthens the time taken for drying thus increas-
ing the energy consumption.
Install the dryer in a well ventilated area to ensure
that no gases from appliances that burn other fuels
(including open fire) flow back into the room while the
dryer is operating.
During the drying process take care to ensure that
the room is well ventilated (open windows or the door,
unclosable ventilation openings in the walls or doors).
If the dryer is operated without being connected to
an exhaust air duct, walls could be permanently dam-
aged by the moisture in the air.
Do not cover the exhaust air opening (make sure
there is approx. 1 m free space to the exhaust air
opening).
Removing from the pallet
The machine is delivered on a pallet which can be
transported by fork lift trucks.
Lift the machine at the side with a crowbar and slide
pipes underneath.
Then roll the machine from the pallet.
Transporting the appliance to the installation
site
A forklift truck can be driven under the dryer to
transport it to the installation site. It is very easy to
bring it through doors with a width of 80 cm.
Important
It is absolutely vital that the cover under the filter
drawer is removed before transportation to prevent
damage to the appliance.
Preparing the dryer for transport
Pull out the filter drawer as far as it can go.
Lift the drawer slightly and remove it.
5 x
Undo the five screws on the front cover.
Remove the cover.
The appliance can now be moved.
