The oil warning system is intended to avoid any damage to the engine caused by a lack of oil in the lower sump. Before the
oil level in the lower sump can fall below the safety limit, the oil warning system will stop the engine automatically (the engine on/off switch will stay in posi-
tion ON).

The circuit breaker protects the battery charging circuit. A short-circuit or a
battery connected with a reversed polarity will trigger the circuit breaker. The green indicator inside the circuit breaker will come out to indicate its triggering.
In this case, find out the cause of the problem and rectify before resetting the circuit breaker. To reset the circuit breaker, press the button.

- Check the oil and fuel levels.
HX generator sets:
- Turn the fuel tap (1) to the "ON" position
SH generator sets :
- Unscrew the knurled fuel tap knob found under the tank
SX and SH generator sets :
- Depending on the model pull out the lever (2) to the "closed" position or " "
Pull the starter cord (2) until there is resistance.
MMAANNUUAALL SSTTAARRTT ((FFIIGGUURREE FF)) ::
Move the engine on/off switch (1) to position “ON”.
Slowly pull the recoil starter handle until some resistance is felt, then pull quickly and firmly.
NOTE: To avoid damage to the starter, let the handle recoil gently.
IIII..44..22 OOPPEERRAATTIINNGG TTHHEE GGEENNEERRAATTIINNGG SSEETT
- When the engine temperature starts to rise, depending on the model, gradually push the choke lever back in to the "OPEN" position or " " .
- When the engine speed has stabilised (3 minutes), plug the appliance(s) into the generating set socket(s).
- Option: Check that the circuit breaker situated between the two sockets or beside one of them is pressed in. From then on, you can use your electrical
appliances.
