8. MAINTENANCE
8.1. HAULAGE

CAUTION:
For hauling use either lifting points with rope eyes or crane
straps. Check that the crane straps are positioned under
the rope eyes (see Fig. 15).
Make sure the straps do not damage the propeller.
DANGER:
It is not allowed to stay on board or stand under the
boat when the boat is being hauled.
Make sure that the lifting straps meet all safety
requirements and that they are not damaged.
8.2. UNDERWATER STRUCTURE
8.2.1. HULL
An antifouling protects the underwater structure against fouling by marine
growths that run down the performance and sailing ability of the boat. It
is applied on the hull section that is immersed in water and up to about
100 to 150 mm above the waterline. The antifouling needs to be regularly
maintained and serviced at least once a year.
