7. Dismantling the housing for the evaluation electronics and the rechargeable battery pack
(Page 11).
Remove the two screws (Item 11.1) and the battery cover (Item 11.2).
If not yet done: Detach the plug-in connection for the rechargeable battery pack (Item 11.3).
Remove the rechargeable battery pack.
Remove the 4 screws (Item 11.4) and lift off the end plate (Item 11.5).
Remove the 4 screws (Item 11.6) and lift off the end plate (Item 11.7).
Warning
: The housing is no longer held together.
Lift off the housing half (Item 11.8).
Remove the filler pieces (Item 11.9).
Lift off the PCB (Item 11.10).
If required: Unsolder the load cell, mains socket and rechargeable battery cables from the board.
If required: Remove the PCB guard (Item 11.11).
The cable gland (Item 11.12) is connected with the mains cable. For a description refer to section 6.
If required: Remove the cable gland (Item 11.12).
8. Remove the holder for mains socket and bubble level (Page 12).
Remove the screw (Item 12.1) and lift off the cover (Item 12.2).
Remove the two screws (Item 12.3).
Pull out mains socket and cable (Item 12.4).
To remove a defective bubble level:
Warning:
Only remove the bubble level if it is defective, as destruction of the bubble level cannot be
avoided. A new bubble level can only be fitted by a skilled person working with great care!
Lever the bubble level (Item 12.5) out of the holder. Scratch the holder Item 12.6) free and clean it.
9. Dismantling the display housing (Page 13).
Remove the screws (Item 13.1) and lift off the upper part of the housing (Item 13.2).
If required: Remove the membrane keyboard (Item 13.3).
Warning
: The membrane keyboard is glued on and cannot be replaced in the same quality.
If required: Remove the film strips (Item 13.4).
Warning
: The film strips is glued on and cannot be replaced in the same quality.
Remove the screws (Item 13.5) and lift off the PCB (Item 13.6).
Detach the plug-in connection for the cable (Item 13.7).
Lift off the upper guide rails (Item 13.7), the drawer (Item 13.8) and the lower guide rails (Item 13.9).
If required: Pull the battery compartment (Item 13.10) out of the drawer (Item 13.8).
10. Remove the joint connection and the bus cable from the display housing (Page 14).
Dismantle the display housing as described under section 9.
Remove the two screws (Item 14.1).
Disengage the housing (Item 14.2) from the snap-in connection of the tilt stand (Item 14.3).
Remove the cable (Item 14.4).
Remove the four screws (Item 14.5) and lift off the tilt stand (Item 14.3).
Remove the two screws (Item 14.6) and lift off the plate (Item 14.7).
If required: Remove the pin (Item 14.8) and pull the pivot pin (Item 14.9) out of the bearing bush (Item
14.10).
