13
● When working with the product, be sure to turn the power off. Working with the
power on may cause an electric shock or short circuit.
● You may get burned by a hot uorescent lamp or other lamps. Pay full attention
to the lamps when performing the work.
● There is the danger of short circuits or smoke generation due to deterioration of
insulation in lighting xtures resulting from age deterioration. Check for anoma-
lies such as the following: Does it smell like something is burning? Is there sock-
et discoloration? Are any lamps being replaced frequently? Do lamps not go
on properly?
● Be careful when handling the plastic parts. Failure to observe this may cause
injury or damage due to fragments, etc.
● To perform the operation safely and accurately you must use a safe, steady
footstool or step. Working without this may lead to a fall and possible injury.
● When performing the uorescent lamp exchange, do not hold onto the bill-
board carrier (the round pipe section). Holding or hanging off this may bend it
out of shape or damage it, and could lead to a fall or an accident.
