1. Remove the 3 fastening bolts

on the muffler spark
suppressor

2. Remove the muffler spark suppressor
.
3. Use a non-synthetic brush to clean the arrester screen.
A synthetic brush may melt if components are warm. If
necessary
，
blow debris from the screen with compressed air.
4. Inspect the screen for wear and damage. Replace a worn or
damaged screen.
5. Reinstall the muffler spark suppressor and fastening screws.
