to the Dial
Scale, rather
than
"H".
Without
the
HIGH
Slide,
set
the white

x2,
or
x4
to
the
Dia I
Sca
le,
rather

L".
These
indexes
are
helpful, for
example,
when
filters
are
required.
When
using
a
filter with
a
n exposure index
of 2,
set the red
or white
x2 to the
Dial
Scale.
With
an
exposure index
of 4,
set
x4 to
the
Dial
Scale.
Note:
The
intermediate
values
of
these
indexes
are
given
in the
figure
below.
Though
they
are
not
marked
on
the scale itself,
you
can
use
them
effectively
when
needed.
