5.8 Plastic Shield Adjustment
Tools and PPE Required:
• 5/32” Allen wrench
Adjusting:
• Located on either side of the hopper are plastic shields that may require periodic adjustment.
• Loosen the three screws holding the black metal bar in place just enough for the shield to move.
• Push the drawer in and pull the shield up until it touches stage 1
cutting chamber. Tighten the front screw.
• Pull the drawer out until the middle screw is in line with the
front of the stage 1 chamber and repeat the previous step.
• Repeat the previous step again for the rear screw, then the
other side shield.
• Pull the drawer out and push it in a few times to ensure that it
works properly.
