4.5 Clearing a Jam/Accessing Stage 2 Cutting Chamber
Jam Sensor: This device is now equipped with a jam prevention sensor. It is located on the right side of the
stage 2 cutting chamber. This sensor detects the RPM of the rotor and processes that information to
determine if there are any issues or jams with the machine.
Bearing Cover: If for any reason the bearing cover, or either bolt holding the cover on is removed or needs
to be, complete steps 1-4 of the procedure on page 13 and return to this section.
• Remove no more than two bolts at a time
• Never remove the bracket, only the cover
o Only remove bolts noted below, “cover only” and “cover and bracket”
o Warning: If the “never remove” and/or “bracket only” bolts are removed, the unit may not
work properly.
• When replacing bolts, torque to 30 ft/lbs. using a torque wrench with a 9/16” socket.
