Operational test of the Headset (with Cable)

ACTION RESULT
(1) Connect the test cable of the sine wave
generator (2, Table 1001) to the related
pins of the connector (Ref. Fig. 1002,
Ref. Fig. 1004).
Note: Set the mono/stereo switch of the
relevant cable to mono and connect the
signal to Audio Hi Left and Audio Lo.
(2) Set the sine wave generator to
775 mV eff ± 5 mV with a signal
of 1 kHz.
(3) Set the switch of the sine wave
generator to ON.
(4) Put on the headset and listen to the
signal from the left and right capsule.
You can hear the clear 1 kHz signal of the sine
wave generator without any distortion in the
left and right capsule.
(5) Set the switch of the sine wave
generator to OFF.
(6) Remove the test cables from the
connectors.
ACTION RESULT
(1) Connect the Cable connectors to the
intercom (5, Table 1001).
Note: Set the mono/stereo switch of
the relevant cable to mono. Check the
intercom settings.
(2) Put on the headset, adjust the
microphone to the correct position and
speak into the microphone.
(3) Listen to the audio output signal from
the left and right capsule.
You can hear your speech without any
distortion in the left and right capsule.
(4) Remove the Cable from the intercom.
