6.3.2 Grounding and EMC Considerations
To maintain CSA and CE ratings for EMC, all I/O cables must be shielded and grounded
according to Figure 44. In addition, I/O cables must use ferrites to reduce EMI.
To properly ground the Sequencer, a ring terminal ground lug should be connected to your
ground wire and secured to the enclosure ground stud, which is marked with a ground symbol
and located next to the customer power connection. For an insulated ground conductor, use a
green or green with yellow stripe conductor which is the same size as the mains conductor.
