Symptom Possible Problem(s) Remedy
Display doesn’t light
Power 1. Check the power LED on the circuit
board. Is it lit?
NO → proceed to step 2.
YES → contact Service Department.
2. Check the power connections from the
Power Supply to the circuit board. Are
the connections tight?
NO → set cables in place.
YES → proceed to step 3.
3. Check the Power Supply fuse for
continuity. Bad fuse?
YES → replace fuse.
NO → contact Service Department.
Incorrect analyzer value
Scale
Calibration
1. Verify the scaled output of the analyzer
matches the scaled input of the
Sequencer. Does the problem persist?
YES → proceed to step 2.
2. Perform an analog input calibration.
Does the problem persist?
YES → contact Service Department.
Sequencer doesn’t
recognize end-of-batch
signal from analyzer
Mode
Wiring
1. Verify the Sequencer is in the Batch
mode. (Refer to Mode in the Operation
section of this manual.) Correct Mode?
NO → change to Batch mode.
YES → proceed to step 2.
2. Verify an End-of-Batch indication is
correctly wired between the analyzer
and Sequencer. Does the problem
persist?
YES → contact Service Department.
