Control Center Monitoring / Monitoring Mode
For monitoring / static auscultation you need the following accessories:
•
External antenna GPS (if monitoring with GPS)
•
Antenna Cable.
•
Total Station.
•
UPS
To perform a static monitoring or continuous monitoring job it is necessary to ensure continuous power
supply to the receiver. To do this, connect the power supply into the COM1 or COM2 slot.
The connection with the total station is via COM 2 but can also be done via Bluetooth (see Connecting to the
Total Station) . We recommend using a cable connection because with a USB connection you can reset the
system if the system fails. Another difference between using the wireless or cable system is the number of
stations that can be controlled. While Bluetooth can control up to 4 stations, USB cable can only handle a
single total station but is a better option in case the system fails, as mentioned before.
In the case of GPS, corrections are also required. The antenna should be in a place with an “open sky” and
connected via antenna cable to the connector. The purpose of using a GPS is to discern whether the station
is in a zone of influence. It is not advisable to exceed the 30m distance between the antenna and the Settop
M1.
Through the web interface you can access the total station. If it is connected, the light appears in green (next
to the symbol used: Bluetooth or USB connection) and the control of the movements are performed through
external software, like TDCM (TDCM see Software Manual).
