When structural damage to the airframe (Not engine or Propeller) is
known or suspected.

2. Wing Flap ……………………………………….……………………. DO NOT CHANGE
3. Altitude ……………………………………………….…………..…… HOLD ALTITUDE
4. Airframe ……………………………………………..…….. EXAMINE FOR DAMAGE
5. Aircraft Systems …………………………………….….. ASSESS FUNCTIONALITY
6. Land Aircraft ……………………………………….……… AS SOON AS PRACTICAL
7. If airframe damage is obvious or undetermined, a controllability
check must be performed in the intended landing configuration at a
safe height close to the destination airfield.
8. Do not select flaps unless the integrity of the wing is guaranteed AND
flaps are essential for landing
9. Landing Wing Flap …………………………………..……………….…………… SELECT
NOTE: SLOW AIRCRAFT GRADUALLY TO THE EARLIEST OF

configuration

POWER
* < 90 KIAS or RAPIDLY DECREASING …..……….……… FULL POWER
3. Attitude ………………………………………………………………..…………… RECOVER
* Nose Low ..………..….. ROLL LEVEL then PULL to CLIMB
ATTITUDE
