Why is the drying process taking so long in my Sharp KD-GHB7S7PW2-DE Dryer?

If the drying process on your Sharp Dryer is taking longer than usual, several factors could be the cause. First, the lint filter or heat exchanger might be clogged, requiring a wash with lukewarm water. Another reason might be that the ventilation grills in front of the machine are closed, so open the doors/windows to prevent the room temperature from rising too much. Limescale on the humidity sensor can also extend drying times, so ensure you clean the humidity sensor. Finally, overloading the dryer or insufficient spinning of the laundry beforehand can prolong the process; avoid overloading and select a higher spin speed on your washing machine.
