ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
The adjustment values are set to their optimum at the factory before shipping. If by any chance a value should
become improper or a readjustment is required due to part replacement, make an adjustment according to the
following procedure.
Before adjustment, perform aging for approx. 60 minutes to stabilize the unit.
1.After replacement of any PWB and/or IC for repair, note the following.
When replacing the following units, be sure to prepare the new units loaded with updated software.

2. Program rewriting procedure
■Outline
Described below is how to write new control software into the flash memory in the unit via the outside compu-
ter.
■Preparation
(1) PC with parallel port (printer port)
(2) Parallel cable (Straight type)
(3) Jig PWB (PAL JIGUIF-001)
(4) 20-pin cable (1 in the figure below)
(5) Application software for the rewriting program (IAP Writer)
(6) Rewriting program
■Preparatory work
<Step 0>
Set the PC printer port to EPP or ECP from BIOS setting.
(Settings are different depending on PCs; it is desirable that a skilled person performs this operation.)
<Step 1>
Install the application software for the rewriting program (IAP Writer) into the PC.
<Step 2>
Connect the PC and the jig PWB with the parallel cable.
<Step 3>
Rewrite the program.
