Jog dial
■ To look for the track you want
to listen to whilst in the stop
mode
When the jog dial is turned whilst in the
stop mode, the track number and track
name of the next (or previous) track will be
displayed. When you find the track you
want, you can start listening from that
track.
1 Turn the jog dial to select the track num-
ber and track name.
To display the previous track name (the
track number will be decreased) ... Turn
the jog dial anti-clockwise.
To display the next track name (the
track number will be increased) ... Turn
the jog dial clockwise.
● When the last disc track has been se-
lected, if the jog dial is turned clockwise
again the first track on the disc will be
selected.
● When the first disc track has been se-
lected, if the jog dial is turned anti-clock-
wise again the last track on the disc will
be selected.
2 Press the 0 / 6 button to play the se-
lected track.
Note:
● When no track names have been stored
on a MiniDisc, no track names will be
available for display.
■ To look for another track you
want to listen to during play-
back
When the jog dial is turned during play-
back, the next (or previous) track number
and track name will be displayed. You can
start listening from any track you want.

1 Turn the jog dial to select a track num-
ber and a track name.
To display the previous track name (the
track number will be decreased) ... Turn
the jog dial anti-clockwise.
To display the next track name (the
track number will be increased) ... Turn
the jog dial clockwise.
2 Press the ENTER/SYNC button to play
the selected track.
■ To look for the point at which
you want to begin listening
whilst in the pause mode
When the jog dial is turned whilst in the
pause mode, the elapsed time will be dis-
played, and you can begin listening from
any point you like. (Time search)
1 Turn the jog dial to change the elapsed
time.
To decrease the elapsed time ... Turn
the jog dial anti-clockwise.
To increase the elapsed time ... Turn
the jog dial clockwise.
2 Press the 0 / 6 button to start playing
from the selected point.
