Job Build
Convenient for producing jobs with more pages of originals than the document feeder can
hold. Combines multiple scanning jobs and copies them as one original set. From
MX-5000N/01N & MX-4100N/01N, users can change the copy density, paper size, and copy
ratio per bunch.
Job Program
Stores frequently used copy settings such as density, copy ratio and other special functions
for easy recall.
Job Reservation
Even while the MFP is copying, you can reserve the machine for the next copy job if the
platen is free.
Margin Shift Shift the copy image right, left, or down to adjust the margin.
Mirror Image
Copies a mirror image of the document.
Mixed Size
Original
Copies documents of different sizes that are fed through the document feeder.
MX-5000N/01N & MX-4100N/01N can feed both ‘Mixed size original: Same width’ (For
example, A4 and A3) and ‘Mixed size original: Different width’ (For example, A4 and B5)
Multi-Page
Enlargement
Enlarges an original image to a size larger than A3 and prints the divided images onto
multiple sheets of copy paper.
Multi Shot
(2-in-1, 4-in-1)
Copies multiple originals onto a single sheet of paper in a uniform layout.
Page Numbering Prints the page number at the top or bottom of the paper.
Pamphlet Copy Arranges copies in the proper order for eventual centre stapling and folding into a booklet.
Photo Repeat Creates repeat images of a photo-size original onto a single sheet.
Preview
Before copying data or data image, the finished image can be checked on preview screen of
the touch panel.
Process Control Monitors copy quality and makes adjustments to ensure optimum results.
Proof Copy
Before copying multiple sets, you can output one set to be checked. The user can either
modify settings as needed or output the remaining number of sets with a touch of the LCD
control panel
.
Rotation Copy
When “auto paper select mode” or “automatic ratio selection” is in operation and the
original is placed in a different orientation (vertical or horizontal) from the paper, the original
image will be automatically rotated 90 degrees to enable correct copying onto the paper.
Single Colour
Enables one-colour copying.
Slow Scan Mode
Scans documents at a reduced speed for thin documents to reduce misfeed.
SOPM (Scan Once
/ Print Many)
A single scan can provide multiple sets of copies with memory and HDD storage of scanned
images.

Stamp
Prints one of 12 messages such as “CONFIDENTIAL” in bold reverse letters. You can select
the position, density, colour, size, and the pages (first page only or all pages).
Tab Copy
Copies captions onto the tabs of tab paper.
Tandem Copy
Shares a single copy job between the two machines effectively by using two MFPs on the
network.
Text Print
Prints up to 50 characters of text such as “5-YEAR INTERIM PLAN”. Frequently used text sets
can be stored in the MFP.
Transparency
Inserts
Automatically inserts a sheet of paper between each sheet of transparency film.
Watermark
Overlays a watermark such as “IMPORTANT” or “CONFIDENTIAL” onto copy output.
XY Zoom
Makes a copy that has different enlargement/reduction ratios horizontally and vertically.
