Question and Answer IconNeed help?

Do you have a question about the Sharp SF-7300 and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

This document is a service manual for the SHARP SF-7300 and SF-7350 models, providing detailed information on their features, specifications, operation, and maintenance.

Function Description

The SHARP SF-7300 and SF-7350 are dry-type electrostatic plain paper copiers designed for desktop use. They are capable of copying from both sheets and books. The SF-7350 model is a successor to the SF-7200 and includes a variable magnification feature, which is absent in the SF-7300.

The copying process involves several key stages:

  1. Exposure System: Utilizes slit exposure with a stationary platen and a moving light source, featuring variable light source illumination. The AE sensor in the copy lamp unit senses document contrast, and exposure is controlled by varying the copy lamp voltage.
  2. Developing System: Employs a two-component magnetic brush development system, using positively charged toner and negatively charged carrier. An automatic toner control system with a magnetic sensor maintains toner levels.
  3. Paper Feed System: Offers both cassette automatic feed (approximately 250 sheets) and single manual feed. An optional multi-bypass stacker can hold approximately 50 sheets.
  4. Charge System: Uses negative DC corona for charging.
  5. Transfer System: Also uses negative DC corona to transfer the toned image to the paper.
  6. Discharge System: Optical discharge by a discharge lamp for the drum and discharge brush for the copy paper.
  7. Fusing System: Heat roller type, with a Teflon-coated upper heat roller and a silicon lower heat roller.
  8. Cleaning System: Blade cleaning of the drum, with separation by a remover tape and separation roller.

Important Technical Specifications
