When re-assemblingthe guide stopper,make surethatthe stop
per can move smoothlyby itsownweght.
Because the upper guide C is treated with an electrically
evaporated coating, be careful not to scratchthe sudace com
tactedby the paper.
The upper resbt roller must be installedin such a positionthat
the u~er reekt rdbr tension spring k located between the
paper guide C spring hook and the conarof the bushing,as i~
Iuatratedbefow.
Note that shape of the resistronertensionspringdiffersbetween
the kont and rear frame sties; moretensbn is ontha rearframe
sidetensionspring.

A. Paper feed roller angular adjustment
Adjustmmt isr~uired for any ofthe follwing reasons:
● Miafeed inthepaperfeed unit
● When componentpartsare diseeaemb~ or replaced.
(Check procedure)
(1) Remove the paper feed unit from the frame. (See l-A-
(1~(2))
(2) Manual@rotatetie gear (a) in the arrowdirectionand atopt
when the protrusionon the clutch sleeve comes in contact

At this time make surethat the paper feed rollerisparallelto
the kwer partofthe paperfeed frame. Allowanceis OS..
