VCR Mode
SHARP VCR can be operated using the TV remote control.
POWER (VCR)
Press this button to turn your VCR on.
CH UP/DOWN (VCR)
These buttons are used for changing channels and setting
the timer.
PLAY
Press this button to start playback.
RECORD
Press this button to start recording. If the video cassette is
protected against recording, it will be ejected.
STOP
Press this button to stop playback or recording.
FAST FORWARD and REWIND
Both these buttons have the following function:
PAUSE/STILL
Press to temporarily stop the tape during playback or
recording mode.
Press again to release pause.
Fast forwarding and Rewinding
1. To move through the cassette faster, press STOP to
stop and then press FAST FOWARD or REWIND to
fast forward or rewind the cassette.
2. Press STOP to stop fast forward or rewind.
Picture Search
1. During playback, press FAST FOWARD for forward
picture search, or REWIND for reverse search.
2. Press PLAY to resume normal playback.
