GENERAL INFORMATION

The TRI inflating device is an accessory for SICE tyre changers.
It is designed to facilitate tubeless tyre inflation.
The use of this device is limited to that specified in this manual.
Any other use is improper and therefore not authorized. Before
beginning any kind of work on or with this machine, carefully
read and understand the contents of these operating instruc-
tions.
SICE S.p.A. shall not liable for any injury to persons or damage
to things caused by improper use of this machine.
KEEP THIS MANUAL NEAR THE MACHINE AND CONSULT IT AS
NEEDED DURING OPERATIONS.
Il dispositivo di gonfiaggio TRI è un accessorio per smontagomme
da vettura SICE realizzato per facilitare l'operazione di gonfiaggio
dei pneumatici tubeless.
L'utilizzo di questo dispositivo è limitato all'ambito e alle modalità
riportate nel presente manuale.
Qualsiasi altro utilizzo è da ritenersi irragionevole e pertanto vieta-
to.
Prima di iniziare qualsiasi tipo di operazione è INDISPENSABILE leg-
gere e capire quanto riportato su queste istruzioni.
La S.I.C.E. S.p.A. non può essere ritenuta responsabile di danni
causati dall'uso improprio ed irragionevole delle sue attrezzature.

SAFETY DEVICES
The TRI inflating device is powered by the compressed air sup-
ply of the tyre changer it is installed on.
In addition to the safety devices listed in the tyre changer
manual, on the TRI device there is an pressure relief valve rated
at 11 bar (8, Fig. A), located on the external tank.
This valve functions whenever the pressure whithin the tank
exceeds 11 bar.
CAUTION: Removing or tampering with the safety devices in-
stalled on this machine is in violation of European Safety Regu-
lations and relieve SICE SpA from all liability.

l dispositivo di gonfiaggio TRI viene alimentato dall'impianto pneu-
matico dello smontagomme su cui è installato.
Oltre ai dispositivi di sicurezza presenti sullo smontagomme, il di-
spositivo TRI dispone di una valvola di massima (8, Fig. A), situata
sul serbatoio esterno, tarata a 11 bar.
Questa valvola entra in funzione ogni qualvolta la pressione all'in-
terno del serbatoio tende a superare gli 11 bar.
ATTENZIONE: La rimozione o manomissione dei dispositivi di sicu-
rezza comporta una violazione delle norme europee e solleva il
costruttore dai danni causati o riferibili agli atti suddetti.

INSTALLATION
ATTENZIONE!
L'installazione del dispositivo TRI deve essere effettuata da
personale tecnico professionalmente qualificato.
Prima di qualsiasi operazione di installazione
verificare che lo smontagomme sia scollegato
da ogni sua fonte di alimentazione.
DANGER!
The TRI inflating device must be installed only by pro-
fessionally qualified technical personnel.
Before any installation work, check to make sure
that the tyre changer is disconnected from
any power source.
1) Rimuovere la fiancata sinistra (1, Fig. A).
2) Utilizzando un trapano a mano con punta per ferro di ø 8,5
mm, fare n. 2 fori sul fondo della carcassa nella posizione indi-
cata dallo schema di Fig. B.
3) Fissare la pedaliera di gonfiaggio allo smontagomme come
mostrato in Fig. C, utilizzando le
viti M 8x16 (5, Fig. C) ed i dadi
M8 (2, Fig. C) forniti nel kit.

1) Remove the left side panel (1, Fig. A).
2) Use a hand drill and a ø 8.5 metal bit to make 2 holes on the
bottom of the cabinet as shown in Fig. B.
3) Fix the inflating device pedal housing to the tyre changer as
shown in Fig. C by using the M 8x16 (5, Fig. 6) screws and the
M8 (2, Fig. 6) nuts in the installation kit.
