Figure 11: TIA submodule parameters
NOTE
Port configuration mode must be set to "IO-Link port configuration active" to apply para‐
meters.
7.1.2.2.1.1 Port configuration mode
The port configuration mode allows you to define the way how an IO-Link port is config‐
ured.
Characteristic Value
PROFINET access Start-up record all IO-Link Device submodules (except “Digital
input”, “Digital output”; Slot 2, Subslot 2…5)
Byte 4, Bits 2…3: PCM (port configuration mode)
SIG200 IO-Link Master (Slot 2, Subslot 1)
Index
0xB100 (Port S1)
0xB101 (Port S2)
0xB102 (Port S3)
0xB103 (Port S4)
Byte 4, Bits 2…3: PCM (port configuration mode)
Encoding 0 IO-Link auto configuration: On this IO-Link port no
explicit port configuration is used. Basic assignments
such as inspection level, port cycle time, Vendor ID, and
Device ID are not required.
1 IO-Link port configuration active: On this IO-Link port
one-tier commissioning is used. Explicit port configura‐
tion for inspection level, port cycle time, Vendor ID, and
Device ID is done in PLC through PROFINET engineering
system.
2 IO-Link tool based configuration: On this IO-Link port
two-tier commissioning is used. No explicit port configu‐
ration in PLC through PROFINET engineering system.
Port configuration and Device parameterization can be
performed through tools which are supporting the stan‐
dardized PDCT interface (Port and Device Configuration
Tool).
7.1.2.2.1.2 Global diagnostics
Global diagnostics allows you to define if any diagnostic messages from SIG200 are
transmitted to the PLC.
