The UE 402 does not have its own configuration connection. It is configured exclusively
directly at the configuration connection of a connected safety light curtain.

Plan all the necessary settings (operating modes, restart, PSDI mode, etc.).
Ensure that the UE 402 and the safety light curtain C 4000 are correctly assembled and
that the electrical connections are also correct.
For the configuration of the UE 402 and the connected safety light curtain you will need:
CDS (Configuration & Diagnostic Software) on CD-ROM
user manual for CDS on CD-ROM
PC/notebook with Windows 9x/NT 4/2000 Professional/XP and a serial interface
(RS 232). PC/notebook not included
connecting cable between PC and C 4000
To configure the device, please read the user manual for the CDS (Configuration &
Diagnostic Software) and use the online help function of the programme.
