This chapter describes how to identify and remedy errors and malfunctions during the
operation of the UE 402.

Stop the machine if you cannot clearly identify or allocate the error and if you cannot safely
remedy the malfunction.

In case of certain faults or an erroneous configuration, the system can go into the lock-out
state. The 7-segment display on the connected C 4000 receiver then indicates , , ,
or . To place the device back in operation:
Rectify the cause of the fault as per Tab. 9.
Switch the power supply to the UE 402 off and on again (remove terminal strip I of the
switching amplifier and replace it again).
Switching the power supply to the connected safety light curtain off and on again
(remove the system plug of the C 4000 receiver and replace it again).
