9. If the measured value is equal or exceeds the maximum value in the table 1 keep the elevator out
of service since the gearbox needs to be replaced.
10. If the measured value is in the range of the warning distance, but sll below the limit value, the
elevator can be put back into service. In this case it is recommended to increase the frequency of
inspecon.
11. It is recommended to double check the backlash on the output sha according to the procedure
described at paragraph 2.
