4 Installation
Electrical voltage on lines
Risk of injury due to electric shock
● During mounting and installation work, electrical voltage must not be applied
Note the positive and negative poles.
Only connect one wire per terminal. This is the only way to ensure the connection
is failure-free for the entire service life of the device.
4.1 Connecting the external power unit
Two connection terminals are available for the aspirating smoke detector's power
supply. This allows more aspirating smoke detectors to be connected to a power
unit.
Prerequisite: The power unit used satisfies the requirements according to the
'External power unit and batteries' [➙ 15] chapter.
