¤ To remove the battery, insert
your fingernail into the cavity
on the casing and pull the bat-
tery upwards.
Charging the battery
The battery is supplied with a partial
charge. Please charge it completely before
use.
¤ Charge the handset in the charger for
5hours.
¤ Place your handset back in the charger
after every call.

The handset must only be placed in the
designated charger.
Please note
u Handsets contained in the package have already been registered to the base.
If, however, a handset has not been registered (display "Handset not regis-
tered to any base"), please register it manually (
¢ page 68).
u The battery is also charged if the handset is connected via a USB connection
to a PC with a power supply of 500 mA.
u The battery may heat up during charging. This is not dangerous.
u After a time, the charge capacity of the battery will decrease for technical
reasons.
