Connecting the base to the PABX

¤ Enter the pause after recall key: A B Afor 800 ms, A B Bfor 1600 ms or
AB 3for 3200 ms.
¤ Enter the dialling pause (pause after access code): A A Afor 1 second,
AABfor 2 seconds, A A 3 for 3 seconds or A A D for 6 seconds.
Inserting a dialling pause:
Press and hold ; for 2 seconds on the keypad. A P appears in the display.
Switching temporarily to tone dialling (Tone)
After dialling the external number or after establishing the connection (# is dis-
played):
¤ Touch [ Keypad] and then briefly touch :.
Configuring service functions

It is not possible to access functions that are only required in special cases directly
from the menu. These functions include settings for special pauses that may have
to be changed when the telephone is connected to a PABX.
To activate these functions, you have to enter a PIN code in the Settings menu.
¤ Open the Settings menu (¢ page 25).
¤ Mentally assign the numbers 1 to 9 to the first 9 icons in the Settings menu in
rows (see illustration below).
¤ If you want to activate a service function, press and hold (for approximately
2 seconds) the following icons relating to the numbers:
A D G B 3 F E 9 H.
¤ A number field opens, which you can use to enter a function-specific code.
