Before
any
maintenance
work
is
performed
within
primary
compartments
,
make
certain
that
the
equipment
is
completely
de
-
energized
,
tested
,
grounded
,
tagged
or
locked
out
and
released
for
work
in
an
authorized
manner
.

Lubrication
It
is
essential
that
switchgear
be
lubricated
carefully
and
properly
to
guard
against
corrosion
and
to
insure
that
all
operating
parts
work
freely
.
Old
grease
should
be
removed
annually
and
parts
relubricated
.
Relubricate
at
more
frequent
intervals
if
required
with
Siemens
lubricant
