e
Older version of the modular component that can contain the "brains" of the MBC or RBC
enclosure. The Controller Module holds the processor, memory chips, analog-to-digital
converter, supporting circuitry, and operator terminal ports. This controller module has been
replaced by the Open Processor.

op
Address of an electronic device that can communicate with a field panel through a direct
connection to either the local point termination or to one of three FLN ports. When
associated with a point that has no physical device, the drop serves as an address of a
memory location for the point.
