Troubleshooting
Pressed key does not respond:
Check if the key is stuck.
Telephone does not ring:
Check whether the "Do not disturb" function is activated
on your telephone Æ page 82. If so, deactivate it.
You cannot dial an external number:
Check whether your telephone is locked.
If the phone is locked, enter your PIN to unlock it
Æ page 81.
The displayed time is incorrect:
The time is corrected automatically over night after 24
hours at the latest.
To correct any other problems:
First contact the relevant service personnel. If the ser-
vice personnel are unable to correct the problem, con-
tact Customer Service.
Caring for your telephone
• Never allow the telephone to come into contact
with coloring, oily or aggressive agents.
• Always use a damp or antistatic cloth to clean the
telephone. Never use a dry cloth.
• If the telephone is very dirty, clean it with a diluted
neutral cleaner containing surfactants, such as a
dish detergent. Afterwards remove all traces of the
cleaner with a damp cloth (using water only).
• Never use cleaning fluids containing alcohol or plas-
tic-damaging detergents to clean the telephone.
The use of scouring agents is also forbidden.
