4 Mounting and installation
Comply with the following notes as well as the
Mounting instructions

to mount the room operation unit.
4.1 Preparation
Check the package contents for visible signs of transport damage and for
completeness.
Do not install parts damaged during shipment. Contact your Siemens
representative in the event of damaged parts.
Note the information in the data sheet of these operating instructions before
installing the device:
● Climatic ambient conditions
● Protection classes
● The devices are suitable for wall mounting or panel mounting.
● Recommended height: 1.50 m above the floor.
● Do not mount the devices in recesses, shelves, behind curtains or doors, or
above or near heat sources.
● Avoid direct solar radiation and drafts.
● Seal the conduit box or the installation tube if any, as air currents can affect
sensor readings.
● Adhere to allowed ambient conditions.
