Siemens Building Technologies Commissioning Guide CM1G5192en
HVAC Products 6 Commissioning 26.02.2003
6.5 Quick commissioning
Quick commissioning allows the user to get started in the shortest possible time.
The grayed out parameters can be left as the VSD will calculate a value or use the factory default values. We sug-
gest to check these values before the VSD is put into service.
Parameter Default Set to Function
P0010
1 = Quick
commissioning
01
Start quick commissioning
P0010 must always be set back to “0” before operating the motor.
However if P3900 is set = 1 after commissioning, this is carried out
automatically
P0100
0 = kW / 50 Hz
1 = hp / 60 Hz
2 = kW / 60 Hz
0 0
For use in Europe / N. America
For setting 0 and 1 use DIP switch 2
For setting 2 use P0100

P1080
10.00 Site
setting
Min. motor frequency (0 - 650 Hz): Sets the minimum motor fre-
quency at which the motor will run, irrespective of the frequency set-
point. The value set here is valid for both clockwise and counterclock-
wise rotation
P1082
50.00 Site
setting
Max. motor frequency (0 – 650 Hz): Sets the maximum motor fre-
quency at which the motor will run, irrespective of the frequency set-
point. The value set here is valid for both clockwise and counterclock-
wise rotation (do not normally set this higher than 50 Hz unless the
motor can be used at higher frequencies)
P1120
10 Site
setting
Ramp-up time (0 - 650 s): Time taken for the motor to accelerate from
standstill up to maximum motor frequency
P1121
30 Site
setting
Ramp-down time (0 - 650 s): Time taken for the motor to decelerate
from maximum motor frequency down to standstill
P3900

P3900 end quick commissioning
0 = End without motor calculation or
factory reset
1 = End with motor calculation and
factory reset (recommended)
2 = End with motor calculation and
with I/O reset
3= End with motor calculation but
without I/O reset
