Note differences in potential
The load supply voltage and the signal voltage of the I/O module are elec‐
trically isolated.
● The connection of the load supply voltage and the signal voltage is
only permissible when no compensating currents are flowing as a
result of a difference in potential.
● The connection of additional, external devices to terminals with the
assignment 2M is not permissible. The additional load may result in
the destruction of the I/O module as well as further faults.
