Installing the bus connector
Fit the PROFINET connector according to the instructions in downloads, PROFINET Installation
Guide (https://www.profibus.com/).
Note
Push
-pull connector
For simplifying installation (only plugging in instead of
screwing with a defined torque), we
recommend using the push-pull plug for the PROFINET connection.
Tools required
3 to 3.5 mm screwdriver, alternatively TX10 (torx).
Accessories required
• Push-pull version:
– Unlatching straps (6ES7193-6DL00-2AA0)
• M12 connecting cables with push-pull connection system:
– M12 connecting cable 0.5 m (6XV1 871-8AE50)
– M12 connecting cable 1.0 m (6XV1 871-8AH10)
– M12 connecting cable 1.5 m (6XV1 871-8AH15)
– M12 connecting cable 2.0 m (6XV1 871-8AH20)
