System Settings
This
chapter informs you of functions that can be triggered by standard
screens to perform system settings. They include:
Selecting a language,
Modifying parameters for OP interfaces, printers, message display
, date
and time,
Adjusting display contrast,
Setting OP mode.
10.1 Selecting a Language
The
configuration can be loaded on the OP in up to three languages simulta
-
neously
. Y
ou can switch between the separate languages online at any time.
After switching over
, all language-dependent text is displayed in the new
language. The following languages are available for OP7 and OP17:
German
English
French
Italian
Spanish
Russian (Cyrillic characters)

o choose another language, proceed as follows:

Choose the standard screen
System settings
→
Language
.

Select the language you require by means of a symbolic input.
The selection list contains only the languages which have been
loaded on the OP
.
The OP performs a cold restart and loads all elements of lan
-
guage-dependent text in the new language.
