Procedure
WARNING
Falling parts
A falling motor or falling loose parts can result in severe injury.
• Secure the motor and loose parts so that they cannot fall.
1 Bring the motor into a no-voltage condition.
2 If necessary, allow the motor to cool down.
3 Release the power cable and the signal cable.
4 Release the 4 xing screws at the motor ange.
5 Remove the motor.
6 Set the motor down in a vertical position
on a suitable base.
7 Release the 4 xing screws at the motor
NDE ① and remove the cover.
8 Release the two xing screws of the en‐
coder ② and remove both screws.
