2.5 This is how you delete the electronic rating plate on an encoder
The chapter describes deleting the data of the electronic rating plate using STARTER/STARTDRIVE
from an encoder that has already been written to.
Precondition
You must operate the motor acyclically in order to delete the data on the encoder.
You have installed STARTER or STARTDRIVE, and have access to the "Expert" mode.
Procedure with STARTER/STARTDRIVE
1. Insert the motor into a free power unit port, e.g. 1.
SINAMICS switches automatically into the acyclic mode and assigns an address ≥ 200, in this
case (205).
2. Connect your computer to Ethernet port X127 at the SINAMICS converter.
3. Select the online mode.
4. Switch to the topology view.


5. Call the "Expert list" of the CU.
6. Click on the "Key" icon.

