2.1 Which motors have encoders that can be replaced?
The chapter lists the motors with replaceable encoders.
Motors with replaceable encoders
The following motors with two cable system (2CC) have replaceable encoders:

You can identify the motors by their power connectors and signal connectors arranged side by
side on the motor enclosure.
Note
The encoders can only be replaced for motors with two cable system.
The encoders can be replaced for 1Fx2 motors from frame size 63 and higher.
You cannot replace the encoders for smaller frame sizes.
• Replace the complete motor.
