3.1 Features
A Control Unit has the following elements:
● Battery-backed real-time clock
● Slot for a CompactFlash Card
● DRIVE-CLiQ interfaces for connecting to the drive
● Interfaces for operation behind a hinged front cover:
– Ethernet ports
– PROFINET interface for NCU 720.2 PN and NCU 730.2 PN
– PROFIBUS interfaces
– Digital inputs/outputs (6 of which can be parameterized as inputs for probe and
BERO)
● Commissioning interfaces behind a blanking cover
