The NCU and PCU are connected via a crossed Ethernet cable.
On X120, the NCU occupies the 󹪝xed IP address 192.168.214.1 in its capacity as a DHCP
server (not used in this con󹪝guration). For this Eth 2 con󹪝guration, the PCU is assigned
a 󹪝xed IP address in the range 192.168.214.241 – 192.168.214.249 with a subnet mask
255.255.255.0 .
The observations made for con󹪝guration 3 also apply here in relation to the connection to
the company network. The connection to a switch on the company network is made via a
non-crossed Ethernet cable.
