Preconditions
● STEP 7 V5 is open and a project with an S7 IO controller has been created.
● The DDF of the UPS1600 is installed correctly.
● The UPS1600 is assigned to an S7 IO controller as IO device.
Placing SITOP UPS1600
1. Open the "HW Config" window.
2. Select the "Options > Customize..." menu command.
The "Customize" dialog box opens.
3. Check whether the option "Display object properties automatically while inserting" is
active. If necessary, select the checkbox.
