1.4 Intended use
The temperature sensors of the SITRANS TS product family are used for measuring temperatures
in industrial plants.
Depending on the speci󹪝cations, sensors can be combined with di󹪜erent connection heads,
extension tubes, and process connections. This makes the sensors suitable for a variety of
process engineering applications, in the following sectors:
• Petrochemical industry
• Pharmaceuticals industry
• Biotechnology
• Food production
