Battery
Insert battery
• Insert battery at the bottom of the
phone

Charge battery
• The battery is not fully charged
when delivered, so:
• Interconnect the socket and the
Sync Station

with the plug-in
power supply.
• Insert the phone into the Sync
Station

until it engages. The contact mes-
sage is displayed (alternatively:
plug in power supply directly to
the phone).

The voltage indicated on the
Sync Station must not be
exceeded.
Charging
The charger heats up when used for long
periods. This is normal and not dangerous.

When charging is in progress.

End of charging
An empty battery is fully charged after
about 2 hours. Charging is only possible in
an ambient temperature of 5°C to 40°C
(the charge icon flashes as a warning when
the temperature is 5°C above/below).
Usage time
A fully charged battery provides 60 to 170
hours of standby time or 1½ to 4 hours of
talk time. The standby times/talk times are
average values; the actual values depend
on the operating conditions (see table
below).
