Making a phone call

Microphone

Switch the microphone
on or off. If switched
off, the person on the
other end of the line
can hear nothing.

Direct access to the
main menu.
Call status
List all held and active
calls (e.g. participants
in a conference call).
Send DTMF
tones
Transmit the control
codes created by the
keys or Addressbook.
Send DTMF tones
Digits entered during a call are
transmitted directly as DTMF
signals so that an answering
machine, for example, can be
controlled (DTMF = Dual Tone Multi
Frequency).
