Softening system
To get good washing results, you can
soften water using the softening
system and special salt. To avoid
damage to the device, water with a
hardness above 7 °dH must be
softened.

Here you will
find an overview of the adjustable water hardness values.
You can ask your local waterworks about the water hardness level or use a water
hardness tester.
