Notes
■ Do not kink the water drain hose or
put strain on it lengthways.
■ Height difference between the
installation surface and the drain:
Min. 60 cm, max. 100 cm
Drainage into a wash basin
:Warning
Risk of scalding!
When you are washing at high
temperatures, there is a risk of scalding
if you come into contact with hot
detergent solution (e.g. when draining
hot detergent solution into a
washbasin).
Do not reach into the hot detergent
solution.
Caution!
Damage to the appliance/fabrics
If the end of the drain hose is immersed
in the drained water, water may be
sucked back into the appliance and
may damage the washing machine/
fabrics.
Make sure that:
■ The plug does not block drainage
from the washbasin.
■ The water drains away quickly
enough.
■ The end of the drain hose is not
immersed in the drained water.
Installing the drainage hose:
Drainage into a siphon
The connection point must be secured
using a hose clamp with a diameter of
24-40 mm (available from specialist
dealers).

Levelling
1. Loosen lock nut in a clockwise
direction with a wrench.
2. Check the levelling of the washing
machine with a spirit level, and
adjust it if necessary. Change the
height by turning the appliance feet.
Note: All four appliance feet must
stand firmly on the ground.
The washing machine must not
wobble!
