F. LOCK
1. Press the button on the transmitter.
2. The system will lock the doors (if connected), and the horn chirps and parking lights ash once indicating
that the keyless entry system is now locked. The icon and beeps play to conrm. If Valet Mode* is ON,
the doors lock and the + icon and tone play on the LCD transceiver.
SILENT LOCKING: Press and hold the transmitter buttons for 1.0 second. The system will lock the doors.
No chirp sound will be heard and the lock conrmation will be through the vehicles parking lights only.
G. UNLOCK
1. Press the button on the transmitter.
2. The horn will chirp twice and the parking lights will ash twice indicating that the system is now unlocked.
The icon and beeps play to conrm. If Valet Mode* is ON, the doors unlock and the + icon
and tone play on the LCD transceiver.
3. The vehicle’s doors will unlock and the dome light will turn on for 30 seconds upon unlocking.
(Note: Power door locks and dome light must be installed with the keyless entry system.)
SILENT UNLOCKING: Press and hold the transmitter buttons for 1.0 second. This will unlock your doors.
No chirp sound will be heard and the unlock conrmation will be through the vehicles parking lights only,
PATHWAY ILLUMINATION: When receiving an unlock signal, this feature will turn the parking lights “ON” for 30
seconds and for 10 seconds upon the lock signal. (See feature bank 2-04)
TWO-STEPS DOOR UNLOCK (Optional): This feature will independently unlock the driver’s door only when disarming
the keyless entry system.
• Pushing the button a second time within 3 seconds will unlock the other doors.
H. PANIC FUNCTION:
Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to activate the personal protection alarm and the icon will display on
the LCD screen. During panic mode, the normal function of the transmitter buttons will be suspended. The transmitter
and buttons can be used to lock and unlock the door (if the option is installed). To stop the alarm, press and hold the
button on the transmitter again for 3 seconds. The system will automatically stop after 30 seconds.
