8) After the maturing process concludes, switch off the appliance by moving
the On/Off switch 3 to the “0” position. The light in the On/Off switch 3
goes out.
9) Remove the power plug from the mains power socket.
10) Refrigerate all yoghurt jars 4 in order to stop the acidification process.
NOTE
► You can enjoy your yoghurt on its own or add fruit, jam, chocolate
sprinkles or other ingredients. The sky is the limit!
Cleaning
WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Disconnect the plug from the mains power socket before cleaning the
appliance.
Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids!
Otherwise there is a risk of an electric shock.
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents. These can damage the
surfaces of the appliance.
NOTE
► Clean the appliance as soon as possible after use to prevent residue from
drying. Dried residue is difficult to remove.
■ Clean the housing 2 and lid 1 with a dry or slightly moistened cloth.
For stubborn dirt, add a little mild detergent to the cloth.
■ Rinse the yoghurt jars 4 and their lids with warm water and dish soap.
Ensure that no dish soap residue remains on any of the parts.
NOTE
You can clean the lid 1 and the yoghurt jars 4 in the dish washer.
Place the lid 1 in the upper basket of the dishwasher and ensure that it
cannot get jammed.
Storage
■ Clean the appliance as described in the section “Cleaning”.
■ Place the cleaned, closed yoghurt jars 4 inside the housing 2 and place
the lid 1 on the housing 2.
■ Store the appliance in a dry place.
